OUTLAW STORIES WANTED
The Posse for the Outlaw Trail Scenic Byway finally realized they were following a trail designed to throw them off the track of the outlaws they were seeking. After making several false starts, the trail is leading toward a booklet of outlaws stories.
Sheriff Stamp wants historical outlaw and local folklore stories for the book, Outlaws Along the Trail -- Legends and Lore. The goal is to preserve these stories, true and fiction, in a written booklet for future generations. The stories will be shared with visitors and tourists who want to know more about the rich outlaw history along the Outlaw Trail Scenic Byway, Highway 12.
Old Deadeye, who knows there are plenty of people out there who have plenty of family history, stories or memories to share, says, If we dont record these historical stories for future generations, we are letting our families down and losing the rich heritage they have left for future generations. Our children and grandchildren will have no idea what trials and hardships families endured to conquer and settle the Great Plains. They worked very hard in good times and bad and have interesting tales to tell.
Remember, You cant take it with you when you die. Do not let these historical stories and folklore be lost forever. The Outlaw Trail Posse is eager to capture your stories in our booklet.
