Old Baldy

OLD BALDY, North of Lynch, Nebraska, by the Missouri River and on the Lewis and Clark Trail, where the Lewis & Clark Expedition first discovered the Black Tailed Prairie Dog and noted in their journals. Capt. Clark named this knob "The Steeple" on his map of this segment of the Missouri River.
